Laboratory and X-rays
Our on-site laboratory and X-ray facility allow for same-day diagnosis and treatment. This can significantly lower the cost of your pet's health care.

Surgical Patients
Most surgical patients are sent home the same day. MVU has learned that recuperation at home provides for a more speedy recovery. We encourage pre-surgical evaluation on all our patients, including blood-screening tests and X-rays. We do not, however, require testing in all cases.

Local Anesthesia
Many small surgeries are done using local anesthesia to eliminate risk and to lower cost. This is especially important for our geriatric patients.

Hospitalized Patients
Pets that must be hospitalized are kept in a comfortable, climate controlled space with full medical attention.

House-Calls
Doctors’ Kaufman and Jaffe have been doing house-calls since 1975. They come to your home or business accompanied by a trained assistant and fully equipped to provide quality services at affordable prices. House calls reduce stress on pets and owners, especially when travel is difficult. House-calls are also helpful when there is a multiple pet household.

Boarding and Daycare
Our new climate-controlled boarding and day-care facility is safe and clean. All dogs are walked four times a day and are kept on the same feeding schedule as you have them on at home. All cats are housed in individual spacious units. All animals are monitored throughout the day. Cleanliness and personal care for your loved ones is our number one priority. We welcome and encourage visits.

Grooming and Bathing
We have been grooming and bathing dogs and cats for over 30 years. Our groomers are highly experienced and work closely with the Doctors on problem cases.

Phone Calls
All phone calls are answered by our highly experienced staff who are always willing to answer your questions and give advice. Doctors Kaufman and Jaffe will always return your phone calls as soon as possible.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off Services
We offer a pick-up and drop-off service for veterinary care and for pets who are being boarded.

Supplies and Food
We offer a full array of flea and tick control products, heartworm prevention medications and numerous grooming supplies. We also have available a full selection of prescription food products for those pets with certain dietary needs.
